KCFCU teams up with Kauai's Credit Unions to support the Kauai Independent Food Bank. This year, Kauai's Credit Unions will work together to raise $15,000 in 15 days for the KIFB Keiki Cafe program which provides over 166,000 healthy snacks to students of after school programs. Throughout the school year, the KIFB delivers snacks to 10 locations throughout Kauai, including Boys and Girls Clubs. Food and monetary donations are being accepted at participating credit unions, including the Garden Island FCU, the Kauai Community FCU, the Kauai Teachers FCU, the Kauai Government FCU, the Kekaha FCU, and the McBryde FCU, beginning June 26- July 14th. Our keiki are counting on us to nourish them!
Each year, as part of our Your Choice youth program, KCFCU awards up to five $1,000 scholarships to students graduating from high school and bound for college. To further help with the rising cost of attendance for college students, KCFCU increased its scholarship amount to $2,000 for five students.
