Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance

AD&D coverage can relieve the financial burden that can result following an accident. According to the National Safety Council, accidents are the leading cause of death among Americans under the age of 37 and the 4th most frequent cause among people of all ages.

CFSG offers all KCFCU members 18 to 70 years of age $1,000 FREE coverage. Members 70 and older are eligible for $500 of FREE coverage. Insurance is provided through Progeny Marketing Innovations, Inc. and underwritten by Hartford Life & Accident Insurance Company. Enrollment forms are available upon request.

Additional family or individual coverage is available from $10,000 to $250,000 at reasonable rates. A new benefit called Adaptive Home and Vehicle Benefit has been added to the program at no additional cost. If a member suffered a loss, other than loss of life, this benefit would be paid for the one time cost if the covered person needs to change the home, making it more accessible or change the vehicle, making it more drivable. The benefit amount would be 2% of the additional coverage, the actual cost, or $2,500 whichever is less.

Your premiums will be conveniently paid with automatic charges to your share or share draft checking account once every three months. For more information or to obtain an enrollment form, please contact us. Enrollment forms are also available at all KCFCU branch offices.
